Compatibility Verification Policy
Compatibility Verification Policy
Buying the right part for your car should not be a gamble. This policy explains how Makkenha verifies that a part fits your vehicle, what our fitment-confidence levels mean, and how VIN checks work — all before you are asked to pay.
1. Verification Before Payment
Makkenha operates on a pay-after-confirmation model. When you place an order, our team verifies that the part is compatible with your vehicle and confirms it is in stock with the supplier. Only after both checks succeed are you asked to pay. This is the core promise of Makkenha: we confirm fit and availability first.
2. Fitment-Confidence Levels
To be transparent about how sure we are that a part fits, we label parts with a confidence level:
- Exact fit: the part is confirmed to match your specific vehicle based on reliable data such as your VIN or precise model details. This is our highest confidence level.
- Likely fit: the part is very probably compatible based on your vehicle's make, model, and year, but one or more details still need confirmation. For "likely" fits, we confirm with you before you pay, so you are never charged for an unverified part.
3. VIN Checks
The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is the 17-character code unique to your car. When you provide your VIN, we can decode your vehicle's exact specification and match parts with greater accuracy, helping us move a "likely" fit to an "exact" fit. Providing your VIN is optional but strongly recommended for the most accurate results.
4. Information You Provide
Accurate verification depends on accurate input. Please provide correct vehicle details — make, model, year, and VIN where possible. If information is incomplete or incorrect, we may ask follow-up questions before confirming your order.
5. If a Confirmed Part Still Does Not Fit
In the rare case that a part we confirmed does not fit, we will make it right through exchange or refund, as set out in our Return, Exchange & Refund Policy. Your VIN and vehicle data are handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
6. Contact
If you are unsure about a part or need help with a VIN check, contact us at [[SUPPORT_PHONE]] or [[SUPPORT_EMAIL]] before ordering — we are happy to help.
